Honda crx 4 sale1/3/2023 ![]() ![]() I haven't had any issues with overfilling after doing it the first time, I just estimate how much fuel it needs based on it being a 10 gal tank. The fuel starvation can be solved with a different style of gas tank, but that wouldn't be legal for STS. If it is below a quarter tank, you can fuel starve. If you fill too much, it can slosh fuel out around the front passenger wheel well area. The gas station pump doesn't always auto shut off when filling. Contact me and I can send you more pictures of the car and what is included Extra air intakes (one specifically made for wet weather) They currently only have one event on them. The tires on the car have just been replaced with new Yokohama Advan A052s. 4 of the extras have decent RE-71Rs on them The car comes with all of the pictured spare parts including some highlights: ![]() I love racing the car, but it isn’t as much fun when driving to and from the events, so I’m selling this gem for something more comfortable. ![]() ![]() It won STS locally and has also won nationally in the past. Even though it is 33 years old, it is still very competitive, winning most of the events I have run it in. This thing is a blast to drive and has been one of the most bulletproof cars I’ve owned. The car has over 282,000 mi on the odometer unknown how many miles are on the drivetrain. If you can find a good one, all it takes to be in top shape and great fun is regular maintenance, cover from the elements, and a driver not afraid to wind it out.1988 Honda CRX Si built for SCCA's STS autocross class. When shopping for a CRX Si, the main thing to look for, aside from over-modification, is rust. Ewing is the third owner of this original California car, having purchased it six years ago for $3,500, but given the condition and relatively low miles, it could be worth a couple grand more to the right buyer. The 1988 CRX Si is particularly noteworthy not only because it was the debut year for the second generation but also because it weighed about 120 pounds less than the later '89-'91 CRX Si, which made 108 versus 105 hp. Honda, in its Suzuka plant in Japan, built just north of 65,200 units of the Si from 1988 to 1991, but good luck finding one that hasn't been torn apart and hopped-up by tuners with a questionable VTEC swap. Due to its upgraded engine and chassis, enthusiasts favor the second-gen CRX Si first offered for the 1988 model year. ![]()
